Adelon

Adelon is the controlled Imperial threshold toward former Commonwealth space and the principal base for renewed recovery work. Its engineered garden world receives foreign trade, diplomatic traffic, relief missions, and expeditions returning from the successor region.

Protected corridors converge on the Recovery Anchorage above the planet. The outer beacons separate arrivals for Port Ansel, the Crova Republic, and the Reception Annex before those vessels enter the inhabited orbit.

Adelon

Adelon’s sun is a yellow dwarf of even temperament, and that steadiness carried the terraforming case: a predictable star made a barren world worth centuries of work. Traffic concentrates on the world and its anchorage, with approach-control beacons named for the destinations their lanes serve.

Adelon b

Adelon b circles inside the temperate band, where tidal stress and strong sunlight keep its rift provinces active. Robotic observatories use the clear upper atmosphere to monitor the primary and provide storm warning to Adelon.

Adelon

Adelon began as bare rock; Syliri terraforming gave it open water and a working biosphere. Its principal city is built for guests, with market streets descending between garden terraces and visitor terminals that render Aelith material in forms a foreign traveler can read. Golden towers hold the diplomatic residences, and the recovery effort musters in the same districts where foreign brokers keep their offices.

Recovery Anchorage

Survey tenders and relief convoys stage here between recovery runs, alongside expeditions returning from former Commonwealth space. Berthing is assigned by mission, and a returning crew’s cargo is often under claim review before the crew has cleared medical.

Adelon I

Adelon's moon carries communications arrays, propellant stores, and the system's heavy cargo transfer pads. Permanent staff work in buried facilities clear of the garden world's biosphere controls.

Adelon c

Adelon c dominates the outer system with a broad ring plane and a regular family of ice moons. Its magnetosphere is charted as a navigation hazard, and Imperial tenders draw hydrogen from the quiet latitudes.

Adelon c I

The innermost charted moon of Adelon c is a fractured body of water ice and dark silicates. Automated wells supply the outer-system tenders; inspection crews occupy its polar shelter during scheduled service periods.

Nav-Port Ansel

A maintained navigation buoy at the system boundary, aligned with the regular hyperlane toward Port Ansel.

Ang’Narr

Ang’Narr is a hollowed planetoid, fortified haven, and permanent settlement within a dim red-dwarf system. Internal agriculture, captured industry, and dispersed caches allow its population to endure without a patron, while the Outer Anchorage and Boneyard support raiding fleets and the trade in their prizes.

Authority rests with the crews that hold the haven and accept its king. Their effective reach follows private charts and armed ships through the gaps between protected routes; it establishes no recognized sovereign border.

Ang’Narr

Ang’Narr’s sun is a dim red dwarf, low on every commercial chart’s priority and absent from most. That obscurity is the haven’s oldest defense: the system offers raiders dark approaches and gives pursuers nothing worth patrolling between them.

Cinder

Cinder is a dense inner world with a basalt surface repeatedly opened by tidal heating. Ang’Narr crews use its empty approaches for weapons trials and leave the surface to automated mineral crawlers.

Ang’Narr

The planetoid was hollowed during the Commonwealth civil war and crowned with a fortress of dark hyperalloys, spires and battlements standing over docks cut into the rock. Internal agriculture keeps the haven independent of any patron, and its politics run on reputation: kings hold the rock exactly as long as the crews accept the claim.

Outer Anchorage

Raiding groups stage from the anchorage, outside the rock’s own defenses. A captain moors close to the castle in proportion to standing, and the moorings reshuffle after every prize comes home.

The Boneyard

Prize hulls come to the Boneyard when the haven is done with them, stripped to frames and left among the native rock. Salvage rights inside it follow Ang’Narr’s own law of standing, and knowing which famous wreck drifts where is an apprenticeship in itself.

Ang’Narr Outer

The system's ice giant lies beyond the Boneyard and screens several common raider approaches behind its magnetosphere. Its upper atmosphere provides fuel, while its moons support caches whose ownership changes with the crews holding the haven.

Cache Moon

Old excavations cross the moon's equatorial ice, most sealed behind doors carrying obsolete crew marks. A few remain heated and supplied as dispersed magazines, bolt-holes, and exchange points beyond the haven's direct guns.

Ashlan Reception Annex

The Ashlan Reception Annex occupies the former Patrol Depot R-4 on the protected approach to Adelon. The Reception Anchorage receives refugee traffic for medical assessment, temporary accommodation, documentation, and onward transport, with procedures designed around voluntary movement and return.

Annex II offers a mild settled world for those who choose to remain. The system's moon shelters emergency capacity, while the outer giant and its extraction circuit keep the Annex supplied without drawing relief traffic through Adelon.

Ashlan Reception Annex

The Annex sun is a calm orange dwarf with two terrestrial planets inside its temperate band. Depot planners valued the star’s long, even output; the reception mission inherited the same virtue, since Annex II can hold settlers for as many generations as they care to stay.

Annex I

Annex I is dry and thin-aired, with salt basins where shallow seas once stood. Automated relay and weather stations occupy its stable ground; settlement interest has always passed it over for its milder neighbor.

Annex II

Annex II carries open oceans and temperate coasts under a mild axial season. Resettlement villages stand well back from the reception facilities, so a family leaving the Anchorage can choose land that feels unclaimed.

Reception Anchorage

The old R-4 depot frames grew into reception halls and medical wards, with berthing for the transports that carry people onward or home. Intake records are kept in the arrival’s own language first and translated second.

Annex IIa

Annex IIa holds emergency stores, quarantine berths, and the communications repeaters serving the settlement world below. Its buried shelters can receive an evacuation convoy when the Reception Anchorage is under medical closure.

Annex III

Annex III supplies the system's hydrogen, water, and industrial volatiles. The regular harvesting circuit also gives reception transports a staffed refuge well clear of the inhabited inner orbits.

Annex IIIa

A shallow subsurface ocean and accessible ammonia ice made Annex IIIa the depot's original volatile store. Extraction is automated, with a small tender crew rotating through the equatorial service shelter.

Nav-Adelon

A maintained navigation buoy at the system boundary, aligned with the regular hyperlane toward Adelon.

Caerdon

Caerdon marks the last Imperial relay before the protected corridor turns outward at Adelon. The system contains no settled terrestrial world; its permanent population lives aboard the Corridor Relay Station and at the extraction base on the outer moon.

The station carries the corridor's Aelith link, approach control, rescue stores, and patrol berths. Fuel and water come from Caerdon c and its moon, giving the relay an independent reserve during interruptions farther along the route.

Caerdon

The primary is a long-lived orange dwarf with a calm flare record. Its small planetary retinue holds no settled world; the system earns its chart entry by position, marking the last Imperial relay before the corridor turns outward at Adelon.

Caerdon b

A cratered, airless world with wide temperature swings between its day and night faces. Its stable ground hosts passive instruments for corridor timekeeping, and survey interest ends there.

Corridor Relay Station

The station carries the corridor’s Aelith relay and approach control for traffic inbound to Adelon, with a standby berth for patrol and rescue tenders. Its crew rotates out from Adelon on long watches.

Caerdon c

Methane haze gives the planet a muted green cast. Imperial tenders skim its upper atmosphere on a standing schedule, keeping the relay fueled without a planetside installation.

Caerdon c I

Caerdon c I serves as the fixed base for the skimmers working the giant's upper atmosphere. Its pressure galleries contain fuel processing, rescue stores, and quarters for the crews maintaining the outer circuit.

Caldris Pair

Caldris A and Caldris B circle a shared barycentre at a separation wide enough for stable circumstellar orbits. Aureline belongs to the brighter primary; Cinder and Vesper follow the cooler companion.

Caldris A

The more massive member of the pair, attended by a temperate terrestrial world.

Aureline

A cloud-banded terrestrial world orbiting Caldris A inside its stable circumstellar zone.

Aureline Moon

A small rocky satellite of Aureline.

Caldris B

The cooler companion, carrying a compact inner planetary system of its own.

Cinder

A dense, irradiated world in a close orbit around Caldris B.

Vesper

A muted blue outer planet orbiting the cooler star.

Corbin

Corbin is a settled member of the People's Alliance, linked to Port Ansel by regular passenger traffic. Its temperate world retains family and civic registers extending back to emancipation, with the orbital Registry equipped to authenticate copies and receive visiting researchers.

Agriculture and passenger services support most of the population. The inner mines and outer fuel circuit give the system enough industrial independence to keep the route open during shortages at the alliance capital.

Corbin

Corbin's sun is a mature G8 dwarf with low ultraviolet output and a long record of stable irradiance. Its temperate world retains broad oceans and mild seasons; the outer system is quiet enough for passenger traffic on civilian instruments.

Corbin b

Corbin b is a cratered silicate world stripped of its early atmosphere. Small prospecting camps work the cooler high latitudes and shut down during the system's regular passenger surges.

Corbin

Corbin is a temperate ocean-bearing world settled before the Commonwealth's collapse. Its towns follow river valleys and older agricultural terraces; family registries maintained through the war now draw visitors from across the human diaspora.

Corbin Registry

The Registry receives passenger traffic, authenticates copied family records, and maintains secure exchanges with the Hearthline Association. Its public concourse is arranged around interview rooms rather than freight handling.

Corbin I

Corbin I is a dry, airless moon with a stable face toward its parent. Relay arrays on that face carry the system's civil archives and passenger schedules beyond the world's weather.

Corbin c

Corbin c is a pale ice giant with a narrow ring and a weak magnetosphere. Cooperative skimmers harvest its atmosphere, providing the settlement with a local fuel reserve independent of Port Ansel.

Nav-Kavora

A maintained navigation buoy at the system boundary, aligned with the regular hyperlane toward Kavora.

Nav-Port Ansel

A maintained navigation buoy at the system boundary, aligned with the regular hyperlane toward Port Ansel.

Drossa

Drossa is the Crova Republic's principal foundry and civilian power-cell system. Ore from the inner planet and moon moves through orbital smelters into the Drossa Works, where cells are assembled, inspected, and certified for sale across the border region.

The inhabited world below is dry and carefully managed, with heavy processing kept outside its atmosphere. Drossa's industrial standards carry enough weight that a valid works stamp can settle a maintenance dispute several systems away.

Drossa

Drossa's sun is a steady K1 dwarf whose regular output suits continuous industrial loads. The inner planets are metal-rich and dry, while the outer giant supplies the light gases required by the system's power-cell works.

Drossa b

Drossa b carries exposed nickel-iron provinces between active rift zones. Shielded crawlers cut selected deposits during quiet intervals and deliver concentrate to orbital smelters rather than lifting finished metal.

Drossa

Drossa is a dry terrestrial world with a breathable atmosphere at the lower elevations. Settlement follows the old canal basins, while heavy processing remains in orbit to protect the inhabited valleys and their limited water.

Drossa Works

The Works combine vacuum smelters, ceramic lines, and civilian-certified power-cell assembly. Independent inspectors keep permanent offices beside the loading spines, since a Drossa stamp is accepted across the border lanes.

Drossa I

Drossa I is quarried for refractory stone used in furnace linings and yard shielding. Workers live in rotating settlements beneath the oldest pits, connected to the Works by scheduled cargo launches.

Drossa c

Drossa c supplies hydrogen and helium to the foundry economy. Its strong radiation belts confine harvesting to two polar corridors and make the published approach tables part of every local pilot's certification.

Nav-Gantry

A maintained navigation buoy at the system boundary, aligned with the regular hyperlane toward Gantry.

Nav-Kessfield

A maintained navigation buoy at the system boundary, aligned with the regular hyperlane toward Kessfield.

Gantry

Gantry completes the Crova Republic's orbital construction chain. Framed hulls arrive from Kessfield for drives, environmental systems, mission equipment, and acceptance trials before entering civilian or government service.

The principal world supports pressurized settlements and surface lift fields beneath a thin atmosphere. Its moon and the outer system provide test ranges that keep new engines and unfinished hulls clear of inhabited traffic.

Gantry

Gantry's sun is an F8 dwarf with stronger ultraviolet output than the region's orange settlement stars. The principal world retains a thin, dry atmosphere, and most long-duration work therefore takes place in orbit or below ground.

Gantry b

Gantry b is a dense, airless world whose sunward highlands carry exposed refractory ores. Automated mines feed the assembly economy; crewed visits are limited by heat and radiation.

Gantry

Gantry has cold uplands, dry basins, and an atmosphere too thin for sustained unprotected work. Pressurized settlements cluster around the equatorial lift fields, supplying labor and fabrication to the orbital assembly lines.

Gantry Assembly

Gantry Assembly receives framed hulls from Kessfield and installs drives, environmental systems, and mission fittings. Separate civilian slips keep routine freighter work moving while the Republic's larger contracts occupy the central truss.

Gantry I

Gantry I provides vacuum ranges for engine calibration and unmanned hull trials. Its far-side control bunkers are occupied in shifts whenever a new production run clears the assembly slips.

Gantry c

Gantry c is a compact ice giant with a sparse moon system. Atmospheric skimming supports the yards, and its broad empty approaches serve as the final endurance range for completed vessels.

Nav-Drossa

UNKNOWN3

A maintained navigation buoy at the system boundary, aligned with a regular hyperlane whose destination lies beyond the mapped area.

Gargantua

Gargantua is a spinning black hole ringed by a hot accretion disc. Lensing lifts the far side of the disc into an arc above the shadow, and the approaching side runs white against the ember red of the receding side.

Three surveyed worlds orbit outside the disc and take their light from it. Miller's Planet, innermost, is a shallow ocean world raked by kilometre-tall tides; it sits deep enough in the gravity well that a surface hour spans years outside. Mann's Planet is a frozen survey site, mapped once and abandoned. Edmunds' Planet, outermost, holds dry ground and thin air at the habitable margin.

Gargantua

A spinning black hole whose lensed accretion disc supplies the system's only light.

Miller's Planet

The innermost surviving world of Gargantua, a shallow global ocean raked by kilometre-tall tidal waves. It orbits deep enough in the gravity well that a surface hour spans years outside.

Mann's Planet

A frozen world of ice cliffs under an ammonia-laced sky, mapped once and abandoned.

Edmunds' Planet

The outermost surveyed world of Gargantua, holding dry ground and thin air at the habitable margin.

Halyard

Halyard is an independent waystation on the northeast continuation beyond Illustra. Convoys take on fuel, stores, repairs, and current survey data before entering a lane where no public patrol or maintained chain of refuges can be assumed.

The system's population occupies a tidally locked tundra world, its moon, and the orbital Waystation. These settlements are small, permanent, and organized around the practical obligations of rescue, flare shelter, and convoy service.

Halyard

Halyard's sun is a cool K7 dwarf with a narrow temperate band close to the star. Its principal world is tidally locked; settlement occupies the mild twilight zone while the day and night hemispheres remain difficult terrain.

Halyard b

Halyard b is locked into a close orbit and resurfaced by persistent tidal flexing. Its thermal output makes it useful for remote power collection, but the planet supports no permanent crew.

Halyard

Halyard is a cold, tidally locked world with open water along part of its twilight belt. The settlement follows that belt in a chain of covered ports, drawing water from the nightward ice and power from the permanent day.

Halyard Waystation

The Waystation provides fuel, pressure berths, repairs, and current survey data for the northeast continuation. Its operators publish departures in convoy windows because the lane beyond Halyard has no maintained protection.

Halyard I

Halyard I is an ice-covered moon used for water extraction and deep storage. A small maintenance settlement occupies the sunward rim of an old impact basin, linked to the Waystation by slow cargo tugs.

Halyard c

Halyard c marks the last easily recognized mass on the outbound survey line. Its weak field and accessible upper atmosphere make it a safe fuel source, though the waystation maintains only one skimmer there.

Nav-Illustra

A maintained navigation buoy at the system boundary, aligned with the regular hyperlane toward Illustra.

UNKNOWN4

A maintained navigation buoy at the system boundary, aligned with a regular hyperlane whose destination lies beyond the mapped area.

Icedrake Debris Field

The Icedrake Debris Field is the uninhabited remnant of a major fleet action during the Commonwealth's long civil war. Two battle fleets collapsed into the same orbital volume, leaving capital hulls, escorts, magazines, and fine debris spread across unstable and intersecting tracks.

The identified wreck of the Icedrake lies near the field's outer face, where Tureeck recovered Silas the Crimson's journal. Unspent weapons, damaged reactors, and continuously changing fragment clouds prevent permanent habitation and make every salvage route provisional.

Icedrake

Icedrake's sun is a young A7 main-sequence star whose hard light gives the wreck field sharp thermal contrasts and little natural shelter. The system formed no living world; every surviving pressure volume is a relic of the fleet action, and none remains in service.

Icedrake b

Icedrake b is a molten-rift world exposed to intense stellar radiation. Its gravity well collected fragments from the battle, but heat and orbital speed make recovery uneconomic.

Icedrake c

Icedrake c once carried a fortified Commonwealth depot under an imported atmosphere. Bombardment stripped the air, fused the surface works, and left the planet uninhabitable; intact chambers are treated as unstable wreckage.

Icedrake Fleet Grave

The Fleet Grave contains the broken concentration of two Commonwealth-war battle fleets: capital hulls, escorts, tenders, magazines, and the fragments produced when their formations collapsed together. Unspent weapons, damaged reactors, and shifting clouds of fine debris make every salvage track temporary.

Wreck of the Icedrake

The Icedrake lies near the outer face of the Fleet Grave, broken across three slowly separating sections. Tureeck recovered Silas the Crimson's journal from this wreck; its remaining compartments have since drawn repeated and hazardous salvage attempts.

Icedrake d

Icedrake d is a cold outer giant whose gravity scattered part of the retreating formations into long-period orbits. Wreck searches near the planet are complicated by radiation belts and by debris returning on steep inclinations.

Icedrake d I

Icedrake d I is an undisturbed body of water ice and dark carbonaceous rock. Surveyors use its southern basin as a passive reference point; no shelter, depot, or permanent instrument has been established there.

Illustra

Illustra is an independent free port whose authority rests on a compact among its harbor districts, orbital quays, and bonded exchanges. The port publishes enforceable rules for docking and contract performance while leaving the legality of cargo to the jurisdictions at either end of a voyage.

Its ocean world supports the permanent population and service economy. The Quays handle licit and grey freight on adjacent spines, and communications equipment, repairs, fuel, and updated charts remain available to crews able to meet the posted terms.

Illustra

Illustra's sun is a settled G6 dwarf with modest activity and a broad, predictable temperate band. Its ocean world supports dense coastal weather, while the orbital quays remain clear enough for traffic throughout the local year.

Illustra b

Illustra b is a dark volcanic world whose dayside clouds carry sulfur and silicate dust. Remote extractors recover specialty minerals from cooled flows; the port authority licenses each operation without guaranteeing it.

Illustra

Illustra is an ocean world of volcanic island chains and deep sheltered seas. The principal port occupies a linked archipelago below the orbital quays, where bonded warehouses, private exchanges, and residential districts answer to the same compact authority.

Illustra Quays

The Quays provide freight handling, communications equipment, repairs, and contract rooms under published port rules. Licit and grey cargo use adjacent spines; disclosure depends on the berth contract and the law of the cargo's next destination.

Illustra I

Illustra I carries bonded vaults cut into competent basalt and isolated from the inhabited world's weather. Warehouses lease by sealed volume, with access records held jointly by the port authority and the leaseholder.

Illustra c

Illustra c is a banded gas giant whose pale rings are visible from the ocean world. Fuel skimmers operate under concession, and several moonlets carry private observatories beyond the traffic of the inner system.

Nav-Halyard

A maintained navigation buoy at the system boundary, aligned with the regular hyperlane toward Halyard.

Nav-Sutter

A maintained navigation buoy at the system boundary, aligned with the regular hyperlane toward Sutter.

Kavora

Kavora is the working capital of House Zarandel's court in exile and one of its two surviving systems. A fully habitable garden world supports an established civil population, agriculture, and industry beyond the ceremonial and administrative needs of the court.

The orbital anchorage contains the claimant's drydock and the few armed hulls it can still maintain. Court charters govern the outer concessions inside the system; the claim of authority beyond Kavora and Miradel remains a matter for archives and diplomacy.

Kavora

Kavora's sun is a stable G1 dwarf with a wide temperate band and little short-period activity. Its principal world developed a complex native biosphere and remains a fully habitable garden world, capable of supporting the claimant court without imported life support.

Kavora b

Kavora b is a young-looking basalt world maintained by tidal and radiogenic heat. Court-chartered extractors operate along cooled rift margins, supplying strategic metals to the system's small fleet yards.

Kavora

Kavora is a fully habitable garden world of temperate seas, forested uplands, and long-settled river plains. The claimant court occupies a restored provincial capital beside the main spaceport; civic government continues around it under institutions older than the court's exile.

Kavora Anchorage

Kavora Anchorage contains the court's surviving drydock, customs offices, and berths for its few armed hulls. Civil traffic receives most of the station's working volume, while ceremonial spaces occupy the oldest central ring.

Kavora I

Kavora I supports communications arrays, magazines, and the claimant fleet's principal exercise range. Its permanent population consists of yard crews, range staff, and families established there during the later war years.

Kavora c

Kavora c is a large ringed planet whose hydrogen reserves sustain local shipping. The claimant administration treats its moon concessions as crown charters, though neighboring governments recognize them only within the system.

Kavora c I

Kavora c I contains water ice, carbon compounds, and the system's principal reserve depots. A small industrial settlement maintains the skimmers and manufactures reaction mass for the court's ships.

Nav-Corbin

A maintained navigation buoy at the system boundary, aligned with the regular hyperlane toward Corbin.

Nav-Miradel

A maintained navigation buoy at the system boundary, aligned with the regular hyperlane toward Miradel.

Nav-Sutter

A maintained navigation buoy at the system boundary, aligned with the regular hyperlane toward Sutter.

Kessfield

Kessfield is the industrial capital of the Crova Republic's northern march. Its fully habitable garden world supports the administrative, agricultural, and technical population behind Kess Heavy Aerospace, while heavy construction remains in orbit and on the airless moon.

The linked yards and outer proving ranges produced the Arcus line and continue to supply compatible parts throughout the region. Five mapped lanes converge on the system, making its convoy control and repair capacity as important as its manufacturing output.

Kessfield

Kessfield's sun is a quiet K1 dwarf with the long, regular output preferred for both agriculture and precision orbital work. Its garden world anchors the Crova Republic's northern industry, and the outer giant provides an ample local fuel reserve.

Kessfield b

Kessfield b is a high-density world with active volcanic provinces and little retained atmosphere. Automated mines supply heat-resistant alloys; crewed facilities remain in high orbit beyond the worst ejecta paths.

Kessfield

Kessfield is a fully habitable garden world with broad oceans, productive continental interiors, and a mature native ecology. Heavy aerospace work is kept in orbit; the surface supports the Republic's northern administration, technical colleges, component industries, and agricultural base.

Kess Heavy Aerospace Yards

Kess Heavy Aerospace operates the system's linked slipways, proving control, and design offices. The Arcus line entered service from these yards; licensed suppliers around the central truss continue to support its parts market.

Kessfield I

Kessfield I carries vacuum foundries, test stands, and bulk stores serving the main yards. A permanent industrial population lives in buried districts, with passenger transfer routed through the garden world rather than the works.

Kessfield c

Kessfield c is a massive gas giant with a complex ring system and regular polar weather. Republic skimmers harvest its upper atmosphere, supporting the yards without drawing strategic fuel through the border markets.

Kessfield c I

Kessfield c I hosts the outer proving-range control station and emergency recovery crews. The moon's ice also supplies reaction mass during extended trials, keeping test traffic away from the inhabited inner system.

Nav-Drossa

A maintained navigation buoy at the system boundary, aligned with the regular hyperlane toward Drossa.

Nav-Millway

A maintained navigation buoy at the system boundary, aligned with the regular hyperlane toward Millway.

Nav-Ostrane

A maintained navigation buoy at the system boundary, aligned with the regular hyperlane toward Ostrane.

Nav-Port Ansel

A maintained navigation buoy at the system boundary, aligned with the regular hyperlane toward Port Ansel.

UNKNOWN2

A maintained navigation buoy at the system boundary, aligned with a regular hyperlane whose destination lies beyond the mapped area.

Kestrel Knot

Kestrel A, B, and C follow a compact, continually perturbed dance. Ternion remains far enough from the stellar knot to orbit their shared centre rather than any one component.

Kestrel Knot

Three close stars rendered as one stellar source at catalogue scale because their internal trajectories are too compact and unstable for representative planetary layout.

Kestrel A

Kestrel B

Kestrel C

Ternion

A cold gas giant following a distant orbit around the shared centre of all three stars.

Laxor Prime

Laxor Prime is a remote, uninhabited garden world containing the remains of the Laxhit civilization. Dense jungle covers much of the surface, and the ruin fields beyond it lie outside the current Imperial patrol schedule and any authority able to secure an expedition.

Laxor Major holds most of the system's planetary mass and keeps translation arrivals conservative. Its bright ice moon is the established waypoint for the inward run; a survey marker above Laxor Prime records the unfinished Imperial archaeological claim.

Laxor

Laxor is a bright yellow-white dwarf with a broad temperate band, and Laxor Prime sits deep inside it, wet and warm. The outer system carries enough mass to complicate translation approaches, which keeps casual traffic away and has left the ruins to the weather.

Laxor Minor

Laxor Minor runs hot, its surface renewed by eruption often enough that impact records rarely last a million years. Survey flights log its plumes from a respectful orbit.

Laxor Prime

Half the planet lies under closed-canopy jungle that masks emissions and swallows landings; every colonization attempt failed before taking root, for reasons no survey has settled. The Laxhit ruins stand where the canopy thins, extensive and largely unstudied, beyond the reach of the current patrol schedule.

Ruin Survey Marker

Placed by the first Imperial survey against the day a proper expedition is funded. It logs orbital imagery of the ruin fields and holds the claim of academic priority.

Laxor Major

Laxor Major carries most of the system’s planetary mass, and its well is the main reason deep-system translation arrivals shade conservative. Its ice moon holds the only survey benchmark in the system older than the Imperial charts.

Laxor Major I

The moon’s clean ice sheet makes it the brightest small object in the system and the natural waypoint on any inward run. A Commonwealth survey cairn stands at its south pole, the oldest artificial thing in the system after the ruins.

Millway

Millway supplies processed food and convoy administration to the Crova Republic's northern systems. Its warm agricultural world carries broad managed grasslands, while the orbital Exchange allocates refrigerated holds and forms escorted departures for Kessfield and the border markets.

The system has little heavy industry. Inner-system metals and fuel from the outer giant support farm machinery, storage, and local shipping, leaving Millway specialized without making it dependent on every passing convoy.

Millway

Millway's sun is a calm K3 dwarf with a close temperate band and little damaging flare activity. The settled world receives steady growing light, while its dry inner neighbor and outer giant provide minerals and volatiles for an otherwise agricultural system.

Millway b

Millway b is a small iron-rich world with no useful atmosphere. Cooperative mines work shallow deposits under contract, supplying machinery metals to the settled world and its orbital exchange.

Millway

Millway is a warm, seasonally dry world whose inhabited belts support broad grain basins and managed grasslands. Processing towns stand along the orbital lift routes, and convoy schedules govern when surplus reaches Kessfield and the northern markets.

Millway Exchange

The Exchange receives processed food, allocates refrigerated holds, and forms escorted convoys for the Republic's northern lanes. Its traffic office can delay a shipment for security, weather, or price stabilization under the same published rules.

Millway I

Millway I carries cold stores, seed archives, and reserve machinery in excavated chambers. A permanent service community maintains these reserves and the mass drivers feeding the Exchange.

Millway c

Millway c is a muted blue ice giant with accessible hydrogen and methane. Harvesting remains modest, sized to local fertilizer production and the fuel needs of scheduled convoys.

Nav-Kessfield

A maintained navigation buoy at the system boundary, aligned with the regular hyperlane toward Kessfield.

Miradel

Miradel is the archive seat of House Zarandel's court in exile and the quieter of its two systems. Its alpine world supports settled valleys beneath the fortified planetary collection, while authenticated duplicates and route records are distributed between the High Archive and the deep vaults of Miradel I.

The Ardavan Sanction remains under the court's seal on the planet. The old road toward Sarvash passes the outer giant and continues beyond the regional chart, maintained as a statement of continuity as much as a working route.

Miradel

Miradel's sun is a stable K1 dwarf whose activity has remained low across the surviving observatory record. Its settled world is cool and mountainous, with clear upper air that favors the archive system's optical and radio links.

Miradel b

Miradel b is a cratered rock with a metal-rich crust and extreme surface temperatures. It is visited by automated prospectors and serves as a stable inner-system reference for the old road survey.

Miradel

Miradel is a habitable alpine world of narrow seas, high plateaus, and settled valleys. The claimant court's civil archives occupy a fortified plateau above the main port, supported by towns whose agriculture and government continue independently of the collection.

Miradel High Archive

The High Archive holds authenticated duplicates, off-world registers, and the communications custody required to compare them with the planetary collection. The Ardavan Sanction remains below under the court's seal; orbital copies record its condition and chain of custody.

Miradel I

Miradel I contains a deep archive of sealed civil records and route surveys, protected by vacuum, bedrock, and distance from the inhabited world. Its custodial settlement is small, permanent, and supplied from Miradel.

Miradel c

Miradel c is a quiet ice giant near the departure line for the old Sarvash road. The court maintains a fuel skimmer and a survey watch there, preserving a route it can still chart beyond the edge of the regional map.

Nav-Kavora

A maintained navigation buoy at the system boundary, aligned with the regular hyperlane toward Kavora.

Nav-Soranel

A maintained navigation buoy at the system boundary, aligned with the regular hyperlane toward Soranel, beyond the mapped area.

Mirzana

Mirzana is a small independent survey settlement around an early red dwarf. Its tidally locked world supports a narrow habitable belt, a surface camp, and an orbital habitat whose residents maintain flare watch and sell updated local charts.

Prospectors work the outer belt alongside raiders waiting for traffic on the Halyard lane. The cooperative can publish hazards and shelter visitors, but it has no patrol force able to clear the belt or guarantee passage beyond the system.

Mirzana

Mirzana's sun is an early M dwarf with a compact planetary system and moderate flare activity. Its temperate world is tidally locked; a narrow twilight belt supports surface water and the survey settlement, while exposed infrastructure requires radiation shelter.

Mirzana b

Mirzana b moves through a close, locked orbit and releases internal heat through persistent volcanic belts. Survey instruments monitor its activity from orbit; no crewed facility is maintained near the surface.

Mirzana

Mirzana is a tidally locked world with a cold atmosphere and a narrow belt of open water between permanent day and night. The surface camp occupies a sheltered twilight basin and supports survey crews, prospectors, and pilots using the outer belt.

Mirzana Survey Habitat

The habitat maintains flare watch, mapping instruments, and pressure berths for crews working the outer belt. Its residents share costs through a survey cooperative and sell updated local charts to passing ships.

Mirzana I

Mirzana I is an ice-rich moon used for water extraction and shield mass. A buried service camp remains occupied during survey seasons, with storm shelter sized for both the camp and visiting crews.

Mirzana Outer Belt

Mirzana's outer belt contains carbonaceous rock, metals, and fragments rich in water ice. Licensed prospectors share tracks with raiders waiting for Halyard traffic, so the survey cooperative republishes object positions after every reported encounter.

Mirzana c

Mirzana c is a small ice giant beyond the mineral belt. Its atmosphere is a secondary fuel source and its gravity assists outbound survey craft, though the cooperative keeps no permanent installation there.

Nest

Nest is the Vyrkani homeworld. The Syliri offered the defensible, resource-rich planet after first contact revealed that the Vyrkani people lived entirely within a migratory fleet. The offer imposed neither obligation nor required duration. The Vyrkani came, evaluated the world, and stayed.

Thousands of collectives now occupy engineered settlements across the surface, including subterranean installations, ocean platforms, and mountain facilities. Many other Vyrkani retain the ancestral pattern of life in space. Their habitats, shipyards, research stations, and departure-capable vessels form an orbital shell whose built volume exceeds all construction below.

The College of Statics maintains its principal facilities planetside, where bedrock and thermal mass become infrastructure. The College of Dynamics remains in orbit among modular habitats and working ships. Nest is both permanent home and favorable anchorage; the system is designed to preserve both readings.

Nest

A long-lived orange dwarf illuminating the defensible, resource-rich world offered to the Vyrkani by the Syliri.

Nest

The defensible, resource-rich world given to the migratory Vyrkani by the Syliri after first contact, now home to thousands of planetside collectives.

Nest Orbital Shell

The immense orbital layer where much of the Vyrkani population continues to live aboard habitats and vessels designed to retain the option of departure.

Ostrane

Ostrane is the Crova Republic's customs gate on the Adelon lane. Its habitable grassland world supports a mature border market, while the orbital anchorage conducts inspections, assigns escorts, and clears convoys into Imperial approach control.

Bonded freight and impounded cargo are held on the moon outside the inhabited biosphere. The system's mines and fuel circuit support local traffic, allowing the customs operation to continue when schedules elsewhere in the Republic tighten.

Ostrane

Ostrane's sun is a quiet K2 dwarf with a stable temperate orbit and a sparse outer system. The settled world experiences warm, regular seasons; local weather and traffic congestion present greater operational hazards than the star.

Ostrane b

Ostrane b is a small cratered world with accessible metals in several impact basins. Automated claims operate under Republic customs seals, allowing cargo to enter the market without a second inspection.

Ostrane

Ostrane is a warm, habitable world of open grasslands and shallow inland seas. Its principal city surrounds the Republic's northern customs port, where escorted convoys assemble before entering Imperial approach control.

Ostrane Customs Anchorage

The anchorage conducts inspection, escort assignment, and lane clearance for the Adelon route. Civil berths and bonded markets occupy the outer ring; Republic patrol craft use a separate spine with direct access to control.

Ostrane I

Ostrane I contains sealed freight caverns, impound yards, and reserve escort stores. A permanent customs settlement administers the depots and keeps detained cargo outside the inhabited world's biosphere.

Ostrane c

Ostrane c is a blue-grey ice giant with a small regular moon family. Fuel skimming is licensed through the customs anchorage, making the outer circuit part of the same controlled approach as the border lane.

Port Ansel

Port Ansel is the capital and principal freeport of the People's Alliance of Port Ansel. The fully habitable garden world Ansel supports a mixed Ashlander population and the region's largest human minority, with civic institutions built around trade, passenger movement, and neutrality among stronger neighbors.

The Hearthline Association maintains ancestry archives, interpreters, emergency berths, and two courier vessels from Ansel Roads. Pilot carries approach control and the regional radio observatory; Ferryman's rings and five maintained boundary buoys organize the outer approach.

Port Ansel

Port Ansel’s sun sits at the warm end of the orange dwarfs, bright enough for an open temperate band and calm enough that the port’s approach charts have needed no radiation appendix in living memory. Three planets attend it; the port takes its name from the second.

Fathom

Fathom’s basins hold the fused glass sands that face half the buildings on Ansel. Quarry crews work it in short rotations, and its night side offers the clearest astronomical seeing in the system.

Ansel

Ansel is the region’s meeting ground, a temperate world whose port city grew around its emergency berths. Humans are the largest minority among several peoples; the Hearthline Association keeps its family archives here, and ancestry researchers arrive on every passenger run. Street signage in several scripts is repainted each spring by civic subscription.

Ansel Roads

The Roads hold the passenger quays and the emergency berths the Hearthline Association keeps staffed, with moorings for the association’s two courier vessels between runs. Arrivals in distress take precedence over every scheduled service.

Pilot

The port’s approach control and traffic beacons operate from Pilot’s surface, clear of Ansel’s weather and radio clutter. Its far side hosts the successor region’s only working radio observatory.

Ferryman

Inbound crews sight Ferryman’s rings before anything else in the system, and port tradition credits a safe run to greeting it by name. Skim contracts on its hydrogen fund a fair share of the civic budget.

Sutter

Sutter is the People's Alliance salvage port for the northern debris fields and abandoned routes. Its dry inhabited world supports brokers, foundries, and ship crews, while the orbital Breakers safe recovered hulls and divide usable structure from hazardous material.

Registered salvage waits in the Working Belt or the moon's storage caverns until title and contamination are settled. The port's authority rests on keeping those records credible; crews denied access at Sutter find few legitimate buyers elsewhere in the alliance.

Sutter

Sutter's sun is a cool K5 dwarf with a close temperate band and low average activity. Its settled world is dry but serviceable; most local risk comes from salvage under tow and from fragments released into the working belt.

Sutter b

Sutter b is an airless rock used as a quarantine orbit for unstable reactors and contaminated salvage. Disposal tracks are public, and deviation from them closes a vessel's access to the port.

Sutter

Sutter is a dry terrestrial world with breathable lowland air and extensive salt flats. The port city spreads beneath the orbital breakers, supporting repair crews, brokers, foundries, and the families attached to long-range salvage ships.

Sutter Breakers

The Breakers receive wrecks, safe their surviving systems, and divide usable structure from hazardous material. Title disputes are heard before cutting begins, since a documented hull can be worth more intact than its recovered metal.

Sutter I

Sutter I holds stripped drives, pressure sections, and components awaiting sale or adjudication. Its yard settlements are rough, permanent communities with their own clinics, schools, and tug cooperatives.

Sutter Working Belt

The Working Belt combines native rubble with inert hull sections placed in registered storage orbits. Tug lanes, cutting zones, and exclusion volumes are republished each watch; unregistered debris is treated as an immediate hazard.

Sutter c

Sutter c supplies fuel to the salvage fleet and catches a share of fragments escaping the Working Belt. Recovery near its rings requires specialist tugs, but intact military components occasionally justify the risk.

Sylir

Sylir is the habitable homeworld of the Syliri, the seat of the Throne, and the principal meeting place of the Starborn Assembly. It orbits a stable G3V yellow dwarf whose inner system also supports Matrix-01, the first and largest Dyson swarm and the greatest concentration of Synthetic consciousness.

The remaining major planets record the system’s long material history. Járnith is a scorched, metal-rich inner world whose accessible mass fed the early expansion of Matrix-01. Beyond Sylir lies Muirúin, a blue-white ringed gas giant and major volatile reserve. Naelith, an ice giant in the outer dark, anchors cold-storage infrastructure and deep-system observatories.

Sylir

A stable, slightly cooler-than-Sol yellow dwarf suited to the long biological and civilizational history of Sylir.

Matrix-01

The first and largest Dyson swarm, and the largest concentration of Synthetic consciousness.

Járnith

A dense, scorched inner world whose accessible metals and silicates supplied much of Matrix-01’s early physical growth.

Sylir

The Syliri homeworld, seat of the Throne, and principal meeting place of the Starborn Assembly.

Sylir Main Belt

A broad belt of rocky and metallic bodies between Sylir and Muirúin. Its accessible space-based resources supplied much of the material used to construct Matrix-01 and continue to support the swarm's expansion.

Muirúin

A blue-white gas giant with a broad ring system, used as a major source of hydrogen and other volatiles.

Naelith

A dark outer ice giant whose high orbit supports cold-storage infrastructure and deep-system observatories.

Tatooine

Tatoo I and Tatoo II circle a shared barycentre as a close pair of yellow main-sequence stars. Tatooine, the first planet in the system, follows a circumbinary orbit around them both.

The harsh but habitable desert world is attended by three natural satellites: Ghomrassen, Guermesa, and Chenini.

Thessaly Phenomenon

The two compact stars of the Thessaly Phenomenon produce matching pulse trains with no measurable phase drift. Their apparent synchronization made the system a disputed observation until full-spectrum instruments recorded both sources independently.

Thessaly Phenomenon

A compact pair of neutron stars whose emission cycles remain locked into one synchronized stellar phenomenon.

Thessaly B

Windlass

Windlass is an independent waystation on the northbound continuation out of Port Ansel. Its tidally locked arctic world, moon depot, and orbital anchorage provide stores, repairs, flare shelter, and current charts for traffic leaving the alliance's maintained approaches.

A dormant Commonwealth route beacon remains in the inner system under unresolved custody. The Reception Annex maintains an unbuoyed survey line toward Windlass, while the public northbound route continues through a maintained boundary buoy to destinations beyond the map.

Windlass

Windlass's sun is an M2 dwarf with intermittent flares and a temperate band close to the star. Its principal world is tidally locked; permanent habitation relies on buried construction, redundant power, and weather watch shared with the orbital anchorage.

Windlass b

Windlass b is a close-orbit volcanic world whose emissions complicate stellar monitoring during active periods. Automated stations separate planetary plumes from flare signatures for the anchorage's warning service.

Windlass

Windlass is an arctic, tidally locked world with a habitable twilight coast around one hemisphere. Covered settlements draw heat and power from the dayside, water from the nightward ice, and most trade from the northbound lane.

Windlass Anchorage

The anchorage provides pressure berths, stores, flare shelter, and current charts for traffic leaving Port Ansel. Independent operators share the facility under a compact that gives distress and convoy service priority over private cargo work.

Windlass I

Windlass I holds water, emergency pressure volume, and dormant machinery from earlier route operations. Its service settlement is occupied year-round and doubles as the system's fallback refuge during severe stellar weather.

Commonwealth Route Beacon

The old beacon holds a stable inner boundary orbit and still answers basic identification queries. Its route tables are obsolete, its ownership remains unresolved, and local crews preserve it as a fixed reference rather than a source of navigational authority.

Windlass c

Windlass c is a dark ice giant used for fuel and as the final local fix on the northbound continuation. One cooperative skimmer circuit remains active; all farther support depends on the convoy's own reserves.
