The emission family renders a star-forming cloud in the manner of the classic observatory photographs: a shaped emission region hollowed by its illuminating cluster, absorbing dust lanes with reddened extinction, shadow-probed rim light, and the cluster itself drawn inside the cavity. Like the dusty family, it is evaluated once into a transparent static viewport that the map places as an ordinary parallax layer. These controls operate on the same settings used by the maps.
